Inclement Weather Plan:
Camp will occur rain or shine. If it rains, we will take activities indoors and use the space we have. Campers will participate in athletic development and scholastic activities, arts & crafts, and other activities.
Camp Levels:
All Skill Levels Welcome
Ages 5-18
Campers will be separated into ability levels and age: Player's proficiency will be assessed weekly by coaches.
Our RED camp introduces new beginners 5-7 year-old players to the game of tennis through a variety of fun, skill-building activities. Players learn the fundamental stroke production and the “ABCs” of tennis (Agility, Balance and Coordination). Participants will use appropriately sized racquets, balls and play on 36’ to 60’ courts.
Our ORANGE camp creates an environment for juniors 8-10 where emphasis is placed on improving their tennis, character and overall athleticism. Throughout the week, the children will work on developing technique, accuracy, movement and tactics on 60’.
Our Green/Yellow camp is designed for players 10-18 who are developing their games and are competing in local events and USTA Section tournaments. Mornings will focus on drill-based coaching, while afternoons will be centered around match play giving campers opportunities to practice their game under the guidance of coaches.
